Best Free Gift with a Game?

Recommended Posts

Over the last few months I have got free with the games I have bought:

Posters (x2, Vice City and GTA 3)

Sticker (VC)

£20 Cashback (Splinter Cell + FS2002)

Fabric badge (GR)

However, I could have got a free balaclava if I had bought Raven Shield from PC world and not Amazon. So whats the best free gift you have ever got with a game, and are the gifts better in Europe compared with US, or even UK compared with Europe.

(This thread is open to everyone bar Rocky who gets a free house everytime UBI announces anything)

Yeah Al, stay out of this one, LMAO.

Wait wait, they give away free stuff with games? :o I don't think "they" like me.

It must be you Brits,... wait wait, GTA3 came with a poster/map, does that count? And Black Thorn came with the GR Behind The Scenes CD... not really a gift, but made me want the game none-the-less.

Let's see, I've got a $20 back cupon with FS2002, but no way to send it back in and get my money, so it's a waste. I even went to Microsoft.com to get the lil cupon thingy with it... beg negative there.

So I'd say the best gift I've gotten from a computer game...

This community that came neatly packaged with GR! And I mean GR.net ONLy damnit! :D

Baisclly, you gotta reserve a game to get a gift in the states.

Software, etc. has alot of good free gifts when you reserve a game from them. Game Stop

Some game companies include gifts or coupons, etc when you purchase the game the day of its release at select stores.

**the following is a long boring story**

**viewer discretion advised**

Heres the funny thing about it though, I saw a ad in a certain retail store, if you buy the game you get something for free. Well I bought the game and took the free item to the register with the game. The employee scanned the ''free'' item and charged me for it. I told them no it is free with the game. They said they would have to call a manager to verifiy the item being free with purchase. I told them it wasnt necessary because if they turned around they will see the big display that said the item was free with purchase. The employee turned around and saw it, turned back around and called the manager. The manager said it wasnt the ''correct'' item and it was a ''mistake'' in the ad.

I told them I wasnt going to buy the game and went across the street and bought it from a Software.etc. and I got a free gift to boot. :D

Soooo....basicly you might want to ask when you buy the game if there is a free gift or at least check out the companies website. ;)

The USS Iowa, decommissioned in 1990, stricken from the Navy roster in 1995. Gets decent enough mileage and packs a heck of a punch.

Dang, I never get anything.... I got a cool poster with my Alienware system though, it's nice. Here's a shout out to all you developers..... put posters in all your games, I'll put em all up! It's free publicity! And t-shirts too.

I got Delta Force: Task Force Dagger with my Global Operations game, it came in teh box with it, in a EA Classics deal, don't know if you have that in the US, teh EA Classic's deals.

bought GLobal Operations for AUS$25, i swear it could've been a way way better game if it had more game options, all u can do is the missions and thats it, even in multiplayer u gotta do missions, u can't do plain and simple death match and IMO i think thats what made this awesome game flop, the best thing about the whole game are the effects, like if u walk through gas everything goes blurry and u keep blacking out then coming back, and you go deaf when a gun or explosive goes off near your ears, oh oh boy NONO THE BEST BIT ABOUT HE WHOLE GAME IS........WHEN U WEAR THERMAL GOGGLES, everything is in like heat vision, its so cool.
