CurtWine 0 Posted July 13, 2003 Share Posted July 13, 2003 Anyone have any idea why this would happen? Just got a new computer system with Windows XP and Audigy 2. All the sounds in GR appear to be working except gunshot sounds - I think mainly from POV character. At least some other characters' weapon sounds seem to be working. I have tried several reinstalls, some with just GR, some with both DS and IT also - with no mods installed. So far no luck. I have never had a sound problem with GR before - with my old system which had Windows 98 and Sound Blaster Live. If anyone has any ideas please post. Thanks! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Just noticed that the sound of the gunshots is audible if I aim directly up and gets softer as I move my aim down toward the horizon -w here it completely diappears. All othe sounds seem to work.
