McKnight07 0
Do any of you wonder why the SR-25 SD sounds like a silenced MP-5. Well if it does download this file and overwrite the sr25sd gun file with it and it will have the sound that was ment for it. Here it is: (Right-click on the link and select save as.) http://dennis.obbhost.com/sr25sd.gun Ubi Soft put the wrong filename for the sound and made it the mp5 sd one but it is really the w_sr25s_ss.wav file that should be used. Parabellum 12
Yeah, this was discussed alot when IT first came out. Jeff from RSE (the sound guy) gave us an answer as to why they didn't use the sound that he'd done for the SR-25SD, but I don't remember what he said.
McKnight07 0
I wonder what he said. Well i guess i will look it up because on the Xbox version they used the original SR25 SD sound that i was just talking about.
Tollen 0
Some simple homebrewed modding was all it took back then... Thanks frot this .gun, now I might perhaps play more online...
McKnight07 0
From when i tested the sound, the server host needs to use this .gun file for you to hear the sound, but it works in quick mission and campaign fine.
