Aussie_Terry Posted July 9, 2003 Share Posted July 9, 2003 teh server was running the Island Thunder mod and we we're playing on the embassy map about 10 of us doing teams anway, i spawned down the bottom of the map right of the carpark entrance (you know where, u can see the bank) and i was using the MMI the grenade launcher that comes with IT and anways thats the scene.... ...i crawl around and peek around the corner and there it is a bogey on teh embassy roof standing on teh helipad, i am high and fire and get this!!! I DIRECTLY HIT THE GUY WITH A NADE!!!!! most amazing shot of all time im sure of it, i was so shocked that i hit him when i acted out of reflex, im also amazed that he didn't get me with his rifle. as soon as i fired i was like "oh no this is gonna miss and im gonna die" but it directly hit the guy. i wish i had a video of it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The map where you have to blow up the to mobile artillery units with the village in the middle. I was at the very south edge of the map, in the middle. My friend was in the NW corner (probably 200-300M away). Anyway I shot a gl and aimed it too high and it went off into the fog. Zantar45 Posted July 13, 2003 Share Posted July 13, 2003 I had a simliar experience like yours Terry. Me and Lonewolf were playing on Embassy no sensors and TRR solo. Whenever me and Lone are on opposite teams on EMabssy we try to race each other to the Embassy (for Rocket vs Rocket battles), well he got me before I could get him. Anyways, I respawned by the destroyed overpass (by hotel) and I got out my M136 and went behind that car.I fired one shot to let Lone know I am coming to get him, well the first shot I fired was aimed at the general direction of the helipad. As soon as the rocket got half way there I see Lone run up the little staircase right there and the rocket hit him in the face! BTW, if your connection can handle it- I highly recommend arcade mod with MM1 vs MM1 or a rocket battle as long as its no guns. Some good maps? some good maps are: Embassy,Polling,MP river,Trainwreck,Caves and believe it or not Wilderness (with Stinger from HX4 ) Good times good ###### times indeed. Never ever have I had so much fun as when I and 'ze germans' played it of (gentelmens agreement on Stingers or At4´s on that time...). Remember that these one´s comes with a clip? Nope, I didn´t and when I thought "it´ll miss by a mile" and zeroed in for my own shot (with a At4, it shouldn´t make no difference, should it?)... Wham! There comes another one, and it zeroes in on me... I honestly see how that black spot is growing ever larger. What can we learn from this? 1: If you have a gentlemens agreement with 'ze germans', there is something fishy. 2: Run through a MOD thoroghly and test all the weapons before playing online... I don't know for sure. The replay of him taking out the camp was the only one I saw. But he was quite the player, so I wouldn't doubt it. Tollen Posted August 1, 2003 Share Posted August 1, 2003 (edited) Ahhh. I either take the SA80 or the MP5. The SA80 is good for both CQB and when the enemies are far away. Couple that up with a couple of ´nades and we´r ready to go. What I don´t understand is that most people hates the MP5... But I´m almost thankfull for that due to the lethality of the MP5 in 3rdburst mode. Often play defensive with this puppy, either with claymores or sensors... As for GL.
