Straw 0
Right, so I have "How to make a skin" down, and I thought I have "How to make a .ATR" file down as well. I want to exspand the number of .ATR files in the MP platoons. I have tried to "cut-and paste" as well as create new .ATR files, placing them in my MP folder, platoon 1. When I go into MP mode I am left with only a choice of 4. The point here is that in CO-OP mode we want to have more unique skins. sample: conversion of exsisting file: name: mp_plt1_snip <ActorFile> <VersionNumber>1.000000</VersionNumber> <ArmorLevel>1</ArmorLevel> <ActorName>Straw</ActorName> <ClassName>rifleman</ClassName> <ModelFace>straw.rsb</ModelFace> <BlinkFaceName>straw_blink.rsb</BlinkFaceName> <DesertModelFace/> <DesertBlinkFace/> <JungleModelFace/> <JungleBlinkFace/> <KitPath>rifleman</KitPath> <ModelName>straw.chr</ModelName> <LOD2>straw_a.chr</LOD2> <LOD3>straw_b.chr</LOD3> <LOD4>straw_b.chr</LOD4> <Weapon>4</Weapon> <Stamina>4</Stamina> <Stealth>4</Stealth> <Leadership>4</Leadership> <ScaleX>1.000000</ScaleX> <ScaleY>1.000000</ScaleY> <ScaleZ>1.000000</ScaleZ> </ActorFile> The skin works great, and this one shows up, but the kit, even though it says rifleman in MP mode selection, is still the sniper kit. I have tried many differnt kit paths and nothing changed but the name... Now I go and make a new .ATR file... name: mp_plt1_genr <ActorFile> <VersionNumber>1.000000</VersionNumber> <ArmorLevel>2</ArmorLevel> <ActorName>generic</ActorName> <ClassName>rifleman</ClassName> <ModelFace>generic_head.rsb</ModelFace> <BlinkFaceName>generic_blink.rsb</BlinkFaceName> <DesertModelFace/> <DesertBlinkFace/> <JungleModelFace/> <JungleBlinkFace/> <KitPath>rifleman</KitPath> <ModelName>bc_generic.chr</ModelName> <LOD2>bc_generic_a.chr</LOD2> <LOD3>bc_generic_b.chr</LOD3> <LOD4>bc_generic_b.chr</LOD4> <Weapon>4</Weapon> <Stamina>4</Stamina> <Stealth>4</Stealth> <Leadership>4</Leadership> <ScaleX>1.000000</ScaleX> <ScaleY>1.000000</ScaleY> <ScaleZ>1.000000</ScaleZ> </ActorFile> And this one does not show up. I am using a version of these skins in the 4th platoon so I know the skins work, I reworked the files in stead of making new ones but it seems that no matter what I do I cannot A/ make a new .ATR file work and B/ make a new kit selection work. what am I doing wrong? thanks
