I have Desert Siege installed and whith NO MODS installed or weapons packs I can play with no problems. However after installing weapons pack so I can have the M-4 SD I start playing amy map and all is well for a couple minutes, then it seems as if GR freezes for a brief second then my desktop appears and GR is closed. Win XP Pro GE Force 2 1.4ghz 768 RAM DirectX 8.0 Any ideas will be helpful, I've already tried re-installing several times and installing 1 weapons pack at a time & the same with the mods, however everytime no-matter whats priority I crash. Seems to do it even when not running mods if there installed in the mods folder it will crash after a few minutes. Thanks in advance for any help at all. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Specter 0 Posted July 4, 2003 Share Posted July 4, 2003 Update to directx9.0a and update to the latest Nvidia drivers. That should fix you from what I see here. You're having trouble generating images. Directx 8 was lousy for XP and had issues. When you upgrade directx, its important for you to get the latest 44.03 nvidia drivers that are fully dx9.0a compatible. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
