X69RZX 0
Shiver just did an awesome tut on trees, just look a couple of posts down. You can prolly find what you need there. Edited July 1, 2003 by X69RZX
cobaka 0
I think he's talking about the alpha channel. That's what makes parts of a texture transparent. If all the parts you want transparent are black in the picture, open it in Photoshop, use the magic wand tool to select the black areas, inverse the selection, go to the channels window, click save selection as channel. The new channel will be black and white, the parts you want transparent should be black. Save the image as a *.tga file. When you apply the texture it will automatically be converted to a *.rsb file when you start the game, or you can covert it with the rsbeditor. But be sure to set the properties in the rsbeditor. select alpha testing, greater than/equal to, and something like 128. Make sure it is set as gun transparent, grenade transparent, and foliage.
