Stalker
I am able to make some long cinematics but now I have a question: Can I place the camera e.g. at a black hawk and let it fly around?? is this possible
San
Don't forget to hit the PLAY button before you attach it, because once he's in the air you'll need long arms to reach it, hehe, j/k.

X69RZX
I don't think so Stalker, if I'm not mistaken, the camera will switch to that position, but not follow the craft. You can switch it to the default view to see through the eyes of the player actor, if they are on/in the vehicle. I don't think that is what you are trying to do. Your best bet is to make several "shots" from the desired point to the desired target, perhaps one or two second intervals, That way as the chopper is about to fly off of the screen the camera will switch and bring it back into view. You can create some really cool cinematics with the proper timing. I've made one that is five minutes long, it just takes alot of patience and timing. Hope that helps some. Stalker
missunderstood I wanted to know: When I choose the CameraSwitch response: .Place Camera at >Position< facing >Target< and when >position< is a moving vehicle and >target< is another moving vehicle................... does this work?? X69RZX
I understood, , try it, you will see from where the chopper is for about a split second, then you will see the chopper leave the view, and the camera will remain in the location of the chopper at the instant you did the camera switch. It won't follow a moving target either.
EricJ
Or pull the camera back so when it switches to the helo, you won't just get a split second view, more or less around 10 secs.
Matt03
I just found out that this is possible but it doesn't look too great. If you setup you first camera switch with your Insert A script blaocks with a trigger (time elapsed) of 1 second and your responses to a block preserve and camera switch to the camera and the black hawk it will follow it but there is a delay and the switch looks choppy. If you want to disable the camera switch just setup a timer to go off when you enable the Insert A script block for however long you want it and disable the Insert A Script block and enable the Insert B script blcoks and do your next camera switch. I haven't tried to end the first camera so I don't know exactly if it will work. But it should work in theory. If you work at it you might be able to get the camera to pan smoothly. but that will take a lot of scripting and a lot of work.
Jack57
Yes it is a lot of work! I have tried it with up to about 25 changes per second and it still looks choppy, so I gave up. That's 50 script blocks for two seconds of cine If it aint smooth it just doesn't look right
