But it wud make me feel better. downloaded Blacksun, and navy sealz plus OSOK when i loaded up GR and after activating the mod my screen went all dark green with nice light screen lines down it and then hung up?? This has happened with all three of MODs am i doing summat wrong...cos soon this PC will die , die i tell you, DIE " Manic laughter echoes thru room"
snakebite1967
does GR or DS or IT run well on their own ?, is it just mods that cause this issue yes that video card isnt the latest or greatest but it should run gr and most mods well enough for you to enjoy them, do any other games crash ? Ruin
Maybe the mods aren't compatible? Check Ike.log, and post the lower couple of lines here. Does it run without any mods (Other than DS or IT)?

Specter
There shouldnt be any problem at all with that video card. I have the same, and get great performance out if. It sounds like an issue with one of the mods you dl'd. Post that info Ruin requested.
Sliver
card may not be compatable with dx9 though
snakebite1967
thats a good point it may well not be any good with dx9
Specter
Its a GF2MX440. Same card I have in my dad's PC, and Im running dx9.0a and the new Nvidia drivers. Unless it is a proprietary MSI thing, it should run fine with dx9.0a. If you are running dx9.0a, then get the latest nvidia drivers. The 44.03's work well. Those work with DX9. A GeForce 2 MX400 on the other hand...
WhiteKnight77
I'm with Crimson on this. A GF2 MX 400 (possibly a PCI card at that) won't run GR as well as a TNT IMO. Remember that the GF2 MX series along with the GF4 MX series lack T&L support.
Specter
@crimson No, actually the GF4MX440 is in my machine. My dad's machine I put my old GF2MX , AGP w 64MB RAM., dx9.0a, and the 44.03's. I just did it yesterday, and he plays Splinter Cell with it. Or it could be that maybe I got lucky. Who knows?
