Avey 0
To play with IT activated you have to have the IT disk in the cd drive
Specter 0
This is true, but once the game starts, you can remove the disc.
WhiteKnight77 1
Make sure the IT disk is in the drive, once the game starts you can remove your IT disk.
Murdz 0
Is it posible to start IT up with out the disk?
Specter 0
No, its not.
WhiteKnight77 1
After being patched to 1.3.5.0 and 1.4, either the original GR disk or the IT disk can be used. You can't start the game without any disk.
hero2zer0 0
Actually its possible to start the game w/o the CD but u'll need a special patch (think its not 100% legal; pm me if u want to know where to get it).
WhiteKnight77 1
Even though it is possible, we do not talk about it here. See the Forum Rules about such things.
Crimson 0
Actually, there is one application that makes it 100% legal. Its called Alcohol 120%, and it "installs" a "virtual" drive. After that, it copies the contents of any cd onto your hard drive, making you able to play without the disk. I think the application is $40 or $50, cant remember. Specter 0
True. But the game doesnt run from the CD anyway, so there is no slow down there, so what's the big deal about starting it with the disc, unless it's not a legal copy?
