If have the original ghost recon. I have loaded Island Thunder and desert siege. When I check my mods folder these two programs appear in the mods folder. Is this right.

I also have several mods listed in my mods folder. When I attempt to play the mode, the game defaults back to ghost recon. Why.

In the Mods folder, Desert Siege and Island Thunder are labeled the MP1 and MP2 folders. They are not labeled Desert Siege and Island Thunder.
It is best if the game is patched to version 1.4.
The Steam version is automatically patch to  version 1.4 if DS and IT are installed.

 

Turning On Desert Siege, Island Thunder Or Other Mods
1-From the main menu, Go to the Options Menu.
2-Click on the Mods tab.
3-Desert Siege and Island Thunder should appear in the left-hand column.
Click on them one at a time, then click on “Activate.”
Do this for both.

This will send them to the right-hand column and make them active.
