Cobra73
Good afternoon, I'm hoping that someone on this forum will be able to advise me. Not sure if it qualifies as Technical Support, but starting here. There are times in our office where the dev teams use downtime to play games. There are a lot of us that were around during the time of the original Ghost Recon and want to set up a network on some of our old kit. I still have the original installation media from years ago, but I'm not sure what to do about licensing it on up to 8 or 12 machines. We already have UT running, but how do I get a site license or multi PC licence? I tried filling in contact form for Ubisoft about a year ago, but got no response. Not entirely surprising really... If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. It would be nice to set up something that is more tactical than the run and shoot of UT. Cheers. wombat50
I know nothing about the licensing aspect. If you have the original disc set for GR it is almost impossible to install it using Win7 or above. MS has done something where it messes with the DRM on the discs. I have a set called the Gold Edition and it installs and works if I only install the first disc but installing the second disc(DS and IT) it does not let the game initialize. Maybe you will have better luck. I got the Steam version which works fine with Win 10.
