HUNTERS BECOME THE HUNTED IN TOM CLANCY’S GHOST RECON® WILDLANDS’ SECOND EXPANSION, FALLEN GHOSTS,
COMING MAY 30th, 2017

London, UK — May 15th, 2017 — Today, Ubisoft® announced that the second expansion for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, Fallen Ghosts, will be available to season pass owners simultaneously on Xbox One, PlayStation® 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC on May 30th, 2017. The expansion will release for individual purchase for all players a week later, on June 6th, 2017.

Fallen Ghosts takes place after the fall of the Santa Blanca Cartel. With Unidad’s military force unable to maintain control over Bolivia, the country is in a state of civil war. To help restore order, the Unidad enlists cartel members, veterans, mercenaries and criminals from various nearby countries as volunteers. Together, they form a new brutal special unit, Los Extranjeros, which is ordered to track and eliminate all American agents.

In this chaotic situation, the Ghosts have one last mission: evacuate the last CIA members and American civilians remaining in the country. Shot down enroute to their mission, the Ghosts find themselves in the middle of the jungle, without external support, facing deadly enemies equipped with the latest gear and technology. These dangerous elite soldiers are separated into four distinct classes:

-      Armoured: Equipped with heavy bulletproof plates, they are especially threatening in close combat.
-      Elite Sniper: Geared up with an advanced movement detector, these Elite Snipers are able to spot far away targets, and never miss their shot.
-      Jammer: With a jamming antenna directly in their backpack, they are able to neutralise drones and interfere with all electronic equipment.
-      Covert Ops: Equipped with a new prototype cloaking device, that makes them almost invisible, and a powerful crossbow, they give a new meaning to the word “Ghost.”

The Fallen Ghosts campaign will feature 15 new missions in which players will have to take down four new bosses located in three different regions. In the expansion, players will start with a new character at level 30 and equipped with all of the main game skills. The level cap will increase from 30 to 35, and players will be able to unlock nine new skills, including physical, weapon and drones skills.

Fallen Ghosts also features six exclusive new weapons, ranging from new assaults rifles, sniper rifles and a crossbow that can be equipped with explosive arrows.

Finally, the more hardcore players will be pleased to know that the advanced and expert difficulties have been tweaked to offer an even higher challenge. By turning the HUD off, players will get the most extreme and tactical experience possible in Ghost Recon Wildlands.

In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, players discover a fictionalised future Bolivia, a few years from now, in which players must take down the Santa Blanca drug cartel by any means necessary. Behind enemy lines, they hunt down targets and discover intel, using any of the more than 60 vehicles available, including cars, motorcycles and even helicopters that they can commandeer. To topple the cartel, players have to fight their way to El Sueño, Santa Blanca’s ruthless leader, by breaking down the Santa Blanca drug cartel’s operation piece by piece, as they sever alliances between the drug lords and the corrupted government. A PvP mode for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will be available in the coming months.

The only thing that bothers me about those mercs is the yellow markings on their uniforms. I know they have to differentiate them from Unidad somehow but c'mon. It's way too similar to the privateers from Far Cry 3.

Also, that's not a Barrett but a Serbu BFG-50a, Zee. Sorry.

Better than Narco Roads for sure. Love the new Sniper Rifle. Just wish they added all my guns from the stock game to it. Really don't see why they can't do that. But I love the story line and having my mates sith me. Anyone else have a problem with the voices not matching their characters? Weaver had Holt's and vice versa. Hope to see more patrols in the woods.

Im playing it without completing the main game, because its an awesome DLC!!!

me and a buddy are going through it.According to the devs during the livestream, two player co op is the hardest way to play this, especially on extreme. It's great.

I wish i had my one friend to play this with. My TF consists of a lady friend, a guy fixated on playing like Steven Seagal (sneakin up crackin necks) and an old guy who gets fed up with the game way too fast. My one friend and I used to play the original with Jungle Storm and Island Thunder on PS2 on Elite. I know he and I could do it on Extreme, but he's PC and I'm PS4. My PC died and working minimum wage plus night time differential doesn't make it easy to rebuild.

I know this is kind of an older topic, but since I fixed my sound and am all done with the weekly challenges, i decided to get back into fallen ghost and go on. Well, I just want to say, I have never raged sooo much in this game than I did trying to complete the norther part of the game. HOLY HELL. I think I died more times trying to do the airport part and the docks than my entire 300 hours total. I'm not the greatest at a head on fight with these guys. I can survive a bit, but this was just redonkulous. Doing the dock part of the mission (get the guy from teh caves and bring him to the docks) was the only time since playing that I wanted to stop playing because it was getting out of hand. I'm pretty sure my one run through I was fighting at least 50 guys and 2 cobra helos.... I got pushed back across the river and was in a huge gun fight between them and me (I ended up losing cause of the gun ships finally got me). While the whole thing was extremely frustrating, it was probably the most fun I had in a long time. The first time I felt powerless to beat it till I got an actual live person to help play along with the mission.

All in all.. would rage again to something like that. Totally worth it.
