Rocky
On April 12 for consoles and April 14 for PC Ubisoft will introduce live season challenges and new rewards to Wildlands. The first themed-season, “The Rise and Fall of Unidad,” will challenge players to target Unidad operations. The challenges for the first season will refresh every Wednesday for six weeks, and reward players with up to three unique rewards per week. Sounds interesting! Rocky
The only season challenges I am familiar with are from racer gamers, in complete a circuit in a certain time in a certain car. How is this going to work in a shooter like Wildlands?
Panic
they have these in Siege, x number of kills with x gun, win x number of rounds with x character. maybe new scenarios/missions but only involving unidad rather than SB?
Rocky
Of course, I've been so full on with Wildlands I forgot about Siege for a while there! Good catch Panic.

5timechamp
I expect these to be repackages of already existing side missions.. hijack fuel trucks etc etc
nyleken
I suspect it's mostly there to entice people to replay the game. This tends to be a problem with a lot of open-world games and its certainly not endemic to Ubisoft. Honestly, having mundane missions like assassinations, infiltrations, and recce be randomly generated with different objectives and targets as a sort of "side ops" feature could mitigate that problem.
