5timechamp
I cleared out pollito again and went behind enemy lines to get my main weapons... I spent a chunk of the day in Inca Camina (south of Montuyoc).. no cartel influence there but its a great looking snowy area where i was compelled to drive to enjoy the scenery... once Inca Camina was clear I have moved into PUCARA, I was keeping my promise to take out the damn radio DJ... also Pucara is where El Sueño and his head guys have their eventual final resting places..(recommend u all come take a look) loving the game.... the terrain is so varied, it evokes many previous Ghost Games
Lightspeed
Sounds like you're playing SP which is what I've decided to do. While coop is fun it is difficult to be immersed in the storyline. I want to know what's going on.
Zeealex
Ugh, i'll admit my experience has been frustrating, there's a game breaking bug in the top left corner of the map, I forget the name, the one with the mahoosive salt lake, yeah that one. I have to tail a guy and the guy either gets stuck at the depot entrance, or my boneidle AI teammates lose all meaning of the word 'security' and I get shot to death while interrogating the dude by a guy who randomly spawned out of nowhere. All the while my AI teammates just stand there like nothing is going on. Prior to that I had almost managed to clear out an entire camp of narcos while maintaining maximum stealth, there was one guy, ONE guy, left and then my bone idle AI teammates decided to shoot at a unidad chopper causing a massive ruckus that forced me to break contact and bug out. I was ######. Ubi really needs to do something with the AI so that when I tell them to hold somewhere, they hold there until I tell them to regroup. I hit the complex again with the intent of leaving these guys in a totally different area, apparently that's a no go as they spawn right on top of you after about 200m or so. I hit a prison complex in San Mateo, that ###### was tense, a narco found a body, put everyone on alert and all my guys got Incapped (oh dear oh what a shame) Had to hide from a chopper while dodging enemy presence in the camp for a good 10 minutes as it was only me left and I was inside the camp complex, meaning I couldn't hit anyone without raising the alarm and getting killed and I couldn't get to my teammates without taking out some guys. I sorta just laid there by a rock til the chopper ed off and everyone went back to normal, thankfully it seems they all found my teammates (who again, instead of maintaining stealth, engaged the chopper) but not me. I was able to hit the guys blocking the entrance without raising the alarm, and get my guys on their feet again. Right now i'm kinda following the weapons and accessories I want and clearing out guys from there. I've completely cleared itacua. Another frustrating thing is minorly clipping something on a motorbike and falling off it to my death... Jesus Christ nomad you slightly bumped a telephone pole! Other than that, I also had a really fun experience getting a plane to San Mateo and doing another awesome SAM dodge, only this time there were several, all in rapid succession, and I was trying to land the damn thing on a tiny mountain airstrip. Kinda wish I recorded that one. But yeah, UBI really needs to fix the aforementioned mission, and the AI desperately. They should only spawn on you if they're in regroup mode or if you're in trouble. If they're holding I expect them to hold, even if that means they're on the other side of the map, I can't help going solo when they keep doing ###### like they are. Also they don't assault while in vehicles very well either. I had a blackhawk with miniguns trying to take out a convoy, I ordered an assault and they just stood there doing nothing. I was in range and parralell to them... Ended up having to rocket the convoy which went about as well as you'd expect with no aiming capability on the helo. Was messy as ######, but the job got done. Then I had a narco standing there at the side of the road alone and I ordered an assault and they just sorta stared at him. Lotsa bugs atm so its quite frustrating getting anything done, without having to break contact and get out. having said that the cartel is slowly going down on my end... Slowly... 3 hours ago, Lightspeed said: Sounds like you're playing SP which is what I've decided to do. While coop is fun it is difficult to be immersed in the storyline. I've also found co-op I tend to muck up more, I'm not sure if it's a rush to communicate with Easy or lack of communication or what. but I've found co-op to be very difficult at the best of times. Jpalm4545
Pretty good, wiped out every sic Arion I could find in itacua now moving on to occoro tonight. Haven't encountered any major bugs yet.
RustySteele
So far I killed yuri and polito, then have been getting everything in that area before moving on, I crossed the borders a couple times and found that helicopters want to kill me and I need to find a better way to take them out ,cause it's hard with the 203. Tonight I think I'll get a plane and see what else is out there, didn't realize you could go looking for guns like that! So far it reminds me of a far cry game... but way better looking, more fun, and more challenging.
mwgfghost
I've been having better luck in SP. COOP started out fun, but then this one dude I gamed with in Destiny joined and his one friend joined and kinda ruined it. He's lightyears ahead. I only wanna stray off mission to find weapons and weapons parts, but that's it. I wanna get back to the story. I took out Yuri and Polito, but tonight I captured Pozolero. Yuri and Polito just sounded insane, whereas Pozolero seems like he may be Autistic. He doesn't seem to know what he's doing is wrong. Pretty cool story. Love the scenery and open world and I cant get over how awesome the parachuting is. Just need to find like-minded people to play the game with. I like joking around every now and then, but for the most part i like to immerse myself in the game and appreciate it. And i think I'm maybe a level 12. Possibly higher. Mister Pink
I've just finished my second province, soloing while completing everything. When I complete SP I may so some stuff in co-op.

Yeh I like completing a province in SP before doing it co-op, but then I was missing out on the "unknown" element when doing co-op so I've decided to leave some of the side missions to the end of a province then doing those in co-op. That might change after a few provinces, but at the moment, that's my plan!
Mister Pink
I see, interesting way to do things! I'm always curious to know other's way of doing things. I think I'm going to stick to a formula.. I know that doesn't sound exciting but I might do a few greens (rebels, so there's more presence of them before anything) Then I want to do blues, weapon parts etc. Then story missions. I'm afraid I'll get bored of the game before I ever complete it though or before I ever start co-op. It's taking me so long to get through just 2 provinces, lol
Jpalm4545
I'm a gun whore so I usually go for the weapons cases first and do whateverything story missions are around those areas. I have cleared 4 provinces of all medals, weapons and accessories.
Rocky
Ha, so many ways to play this game, it caters for many. Like Mister Bink I'm hoping this compulsion to collect everything doesn't make the game go stale, however if I buy into the plot and story this should not be an issue!
Zeealex
I've got more reds than whites at this present moment in time and the plot seems to be thickening more and more as time goes on when I collect more kingslayer files along the way...

Evilducky
Going pretty good. Cleared out a few of them so far. Best game play yet was going through the Unidad main base causing all kinds of trouble with 2 buddies. Was going through the tunnel part of it and laying there watching some bad guys waiting for my friends to catch up. Next thing I know one guy comes zipping by on a dirtbike and goes "Sup duck"... 2 seconds later, a armored jeep full of Unidad soldiers comes hauling ass behind him and sees me. Stops and drops off like 4 soldiers and the guy on the gun and just tear me apart. While Im dead waiting, the same friend comes hauling ass back through the tunnel with a big ass truck and just plows through the guys and parks between me and them, revives me and we go on to till them and the truck full of guys that came back with him from the underground. It was pretty funny.
RustySteele
I've been around 2/3 of the map, beat Caimans now, following the assistant was a pain, had to repeat it a bunch of times, finally figured out a helo between 200 and 300 yards is where it's at... getting the hang of those things finally. I've done at least a couple of the story missions in most of the provinces I've passed through, getting a good handle on the overall story, which I'm digging... there's some good storylines, which is why gaming will always be better than tv! I collect a lot of intel and know where the guns are, but haven't gone after too many of them. I'm primarily using the silenced G-36 w/ the GL and the MSR. Seems like with the update I can't take out a chopper with the MSR so easy, but I took down a Unidad Blackhawk with a Kiowa with dual cannons in like one burst which was cool. I have a lot of resources, I take out any convoy I'm near, blindside headshot the lead driver when they come around a turn then drop a couple 203's into the escorts. I like the drone to plan smaller engagements, but for bigger ones I just roll the dice and tell the team to fire and I chase AI through the mayhem. Still haven't played co-op, but I might give it a shot one of these days... this game is lots of fun on one player so far! (When the 4 v 4 comes out though, I'd love to get in on that with some of y'all, so keep me in mind! my pc gt on steam is fischercat ) Edited March 14, 2017 by RustySteele
TJbrena
I've taken out a bunch of assorted buchones and devastated the cartel's coke production. Now they're moving to meth and MDMA apparently. Hit and fade attacks are fun, especially leaving one guy alive to hide behind cover and wonder where the gringos went. I'd call in rebels more often but they look like middle-aged hipsters instead of revolutionary dudes like Pac Katari. Maybe expanding their presence makes them look more like a commie paramilitary group like FARC. Just some olive drab fatigues and the like would be a big jump in the "yeah, I'd fight beside these guys" score. Also I've killed around a dozen civvies by this point and a few rebels too. All on accident of course, but the rebels are Maoists if Amaru's "agrarian proletariat" ideas Pac mentions are any indication, so they have it coming. I hope I get to attack Pac at the end.
Zeealex
I won't say anything as it's unconfirmed, i'm just going on what I've seen and heard so far, but I have an honest gut feeling your wish may come true TJ. I've completely disabled security, onto influence, then smuggling, then production, going for a full 100% takedown. 5timechamp
Im greater than 50% on Influence and 25% everywhere else.. going after La Santera in Espiritu Santo, the area is my new favorite in the game. The jungle here is so dense i decided to hoof the region. Still having a great time.. those that complain about the redundant gameplay loop are either too busy getting rid of markers on the map or not using the full toolbox for max fun

Jpalm4545
Now I remember which one that is. Pain in the ass. He always got in a car and drover away and every time I damagedid the car enough for it to stop he would jump out and get hit by a car lol. Happened 4 times before I finally got it. He was such a dumbass.

TJbrena
For some reason I thought I had to catch El Pulpo, so I shot out the tires on all cars in the complex he was hiding in. I realized shortly after I was supposed to escort him. Somehow I protected him all the way to the airport on flat tires.
