WytchDokta
So how do I got about geeting a satellite connection? Please remember that I'm the UK.
BlueRose_76
As far as i know it goes like this: - There is a sender-thing in an area were they got acces to broadbandfacilities. - At your place is the receiver-thing. - The beam all datatraffic at highspeed between the two thingies Its just an alternative for putting a cable in the ground which only profitable for the telcompany when there are more than X connections possible in that area. With this sattelietsystem THEY dont have to invest in cable-infastructure and guess what; YOU do. I know some companies overhere in holland, but that wouldnt help you i guess. I should check the more business-orientated telecoms. Regards, BR_76
WytchDokta
There is a sender-thing in an area were they got acces to broadbandfacilities. Did you read my posts? I said I don't live in an area where there is broadband facilities.
WhiteKnight77
Yes, it is the July issue that has the DSL article in it. Also a good article on OCing. I want that Voodoo PC that they tested in it, some very wicked cooling.
BlueRose_76
- .:Nightmare:.,Jul 4 2003, 16:20 ] There is a sender-thing in an area were they got acces to broadbandfacilities. Did you read my posts? I said I don't live in an area where there is broadband facilities. Yeah, the sender is indeed in the other area than you are and where broadband is available. Than beam the data to your receiver in your own area. Could be kilometres in distance. Edited July 4, 2003 by BlueRose_76
