As far as i know it goes like this:

- There is a sender-thing in an area were they got acces to broadbandfacilities.

- At your place is the receiver-thing.

- The beam all datatraffic at highspeed between the two thingies

Its just an alternative for putting a cable in the ground which only profitable for the telcompany when there are more than X connections possible in that area. With this sattelietsystem THEY dont have to invest in cable-infastructure and guess what; YOU do.

I know some companies overhere in holland, but that wouldnt help you i guess. I should check the more business-orientated telecoms.

Did you read my posts? I said I don't live in an area where there is broadband facilities.

Yeah,

the sender is indeed in the other area than you are and where broadband is available. Than beam the data to your receiver in your own area. Could be kilometres in distance.
