Zeealex
yep, Ghost Recon will play in Windows 7, i'm using windows 7 to play it. If you want to install Ghost Recon 1 on windows 7 easily, it's best to install steam information on steam: Steam is a free application, in which you can buy games from it, Steam directly handles the downloads installations, and updates of any game you purchase, makes life a lot easier. Their summer sale is on as well, so you can get it fairly cheap. If you just want to run the game disk you bought, run the installation in compatability mode and as an administrator. Steam, I do have a steam account for skyrim but would I be able to install mods into mghost recon from my disk set? Also, forgot to mention when it is installed the screen looks as though it's in safe mode!! steinbeck
Blame
yes, yes you are able to install mods into Ghost Recon folder from a disk set, you're not going to leave them in some other game or a normal folder.
Zeealex
windows will go into "classic mode" when older programs are running in compatibility mode or if the program is causing performance problems. if it doesn't come out of classic mode even after the game or the installer has closed, reboot the PC. you may need to do some rejigs in the customization menu. you'll be able to install mods fine, steam doesn't change the way the game works. But the game will be in C:\Program Files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common rather than C:\Program Files(x86)\Red Storm Entertainment.
