Mission HX - removing the claymores

Hello, I love this mod. It's why I've been able to continue enjoying GR.

I would like to get rid of the claymores. Is it something I could learn to do myself? A friend at Ghostrecon.net made a bunch of improvements to the mod, so I would like to be able to apply the changes to the versions that I use, if possible.

Open igor

Use the menu option import contained in the script button at the top.

Navigate to and select the hx.gtf

Then using the script button again, select edit.

There are some references to mines in the hx.gtf file under the group init mines

I didn't try any changes but if you do make a back-up copy before trying.

Thanks wombat, I will try it soon. I haven't worked with scripts before. This will be great to have done, I've been on a year's break from GR, played one the other day, and loved the game as much as ever.

I will have to share the MHX file here at GRnet. There are a lot of improvements over the first version.

That would be great sharing the improved version of Mission HX.

I'm not much of a scripter but my thought would be to delete the blocks in the group "init mines" and see what happens.
