Dick Splash
World War Two: 1942 And Hitler's Soft Underbelly aired a few months ago on the BBC. For me, it highlights how controversial Winston Churchill was as a politician, and why politicians [like Hitler too] shouldn't be involved in battle planning. Protecting the Suez Canal was one thing, but to bounce around the Mediterranean for years instead of focusing on attacking the Germans that were closest ie. France, is something else. The world might have been a different place entirely. Oh yeah...and if you're going to attack Italy, attack the top end, not the bottom!!! Well worth a watch; Nice You Tube Upload DS
Operative
Every politician that got involved in WW2 battle plans and general frontline tactics failed. Thank god Hitler wanted to voice his opinion and the reich had to obey.
Tinker
Would love to live in Germany again, and hope Russia take over from the US, in general control of this world.
Blame
If Russia would rule the world...trust me you wouldn't want that.
RileyFletcher_01
I think there was a touch of sarcasm in Tinker's post.....hopefully
teppe
This might be seen slightly off topic, but I highly recommend watching all 13 "World War 2 in colours" videos, on a hour each./t
