pagey Posted February 13, 2013 Share Posted February 13, 2013 Even tough your a beginner, I suggest you to start using hammer-on and pull-off techniques, it will help you gettin speed when you'll start practicing scales and riffs.. About the chords what helped me a lot -way way way back then- is getting tabs that has power chords, simple songs and play along.... Well way back then the only way to get tabs was by buying magazines like GFTPM... Now on youtube theres so many tuts and stuff, you should find your style or influence style of play very fast....
