RileyFletcher_01
I was recently molested by the directors of this terrible sequel to my favorite trilogy. I was in tears by the time the thing was over. They left out everything that made the first ones good. I mean, a good part of the awesomeness of the first Bourne movies was the intrigue and mystery behind his identity. Subtract that and the sweet hand-to-hand fights between the main dude and the antagonist and you have a crappy movie a.k.a Bourne Legacy. To me, there was no depth to it. It never really got me hooked and at any moment I could have stopped it and gone and done something else. Plus it jumped around a bit too much and lost me at times even though I've seen the original ones dozens of times. No immersion whatsoever. The only memorable combat scene was in the old house where he takes out the government agents. Other than that, there's nothing special about driving motorbikes or beating up untrained overweight police officers and a big Aussie guy. Whenever you watch the original Bourne movies you just know that this Jason guy is the real deal, but this Aaron Cross guy is just some dork who runs on assorted-color drugs. Totally disappointed. teppe
I will give you 100 % right. I remember the 2 or 3 first with the Jason guy, and he was really amazing. Then i saw the trailer to this one, i just say, no Matt Damon - no Bourne. Yeah, hand to hand fights we're wonderful in the firsts. I miss Matt... mexicobob
I agree 100%, I did not like this one either.
RileyFletcher_01
And it's a shame, too -- they could have done a great job even without Matt Damon. There was just so much potential in it. I mean, remember the yellow pills that killed the agents? I was waiting for those to come into play the entire movie but they just kind of used them in the first part to get rid of part of their cast easily and Cross never even encountered them. Rocky
I was recently molested by the directors of this terrible sequel to my favorite trilogy. I was in tears by the time the thing was over. I have to admit I was sorely dispaointed too, and I got in for free, didn't even pay. I was saddened because it was just the same story repeated, with hardly anything new. i.e., secret agent gets hunted down by another secret agent, from a previously unknown division of secret agents. Once I realised that, no amount of action scenes was gonna make it a good movie.
