snowpilot 0
I have encountered a serious problem when downloading certain mods for GR. Upon unzipping the mod, I would run the install app and install the mod in the mods folder of GR. Unfortunately, a few mods, i.e. lwm8 and the bundheswher mod, do not include a folder directory for the mod to go into. without this folder, the game refuses to acknowlege the fact that the mod is there. Also, I am not familiar with how the files link to eachother and so am unable to move the individual files to an existing folder. please help...

Dark Ranger 0
In that case, snowpilot, you will have to do one of two things: 1: Uninstall your MOD with Add/Remove Programs. Then try reinstalling the MOD to the GR directory(for example C:/Program Files/Ghost Recon). Notice that I excluded the MODS folder. OR 2: You will have to create the appropriately-named folder in your MODS directory, then install the MOD to that folder. Good luck, and as SS mentioned, Welcome to GhostRecon.net
SOTOMac 0
Can You take a Screen Shot of Your Ghost Recon Mods Folder. If You can I'll tell You what to Keep and what to get Rid of so as to have the Mod actually Work. Sometimes People Create a Mod Installer and they forget to create the Installer in the Following Fashion. Lets say My Mod was to be called - MACMOD. This said - I'd then have a Folder called Installer ( And I do too BTW ) Which would have a Folder in it called ; MACMOD... This MACMOD Folder would essentially be the Mod as the Mod's Files would then be Inside of that. The Problem that some People then have is that they go and Create the Installer from their Main Mod Folder. The ClickTeam Installer Program is not Designed to Carry the First Mod Folder or Container Folder which the whole Mod was Created from - With It when It makes the Installer ( .exe ). This is where the Issue arises from as the Problem Mod is then essentially Installed w/ all the Folders and Files that the Main Mod Folder had but without the Container Folder that It was Created from. This then Leaves You with all of the Folders and Files from a Typical Mod Installed to Your "GR/Mods" Folder but w/ no way for "GR" to run the Mod as the Install was a corrupt one. A Pic will let Me tell You what to put where and what to Delete if any Deleting is necessary at all... Sincerely,
