LoL - Labor of Love

It will be a single mission, yep, as ghosts no new PLAYER skins or weapons but new skins :) Will handle in 1995 in Checkhenya. Under first checken war.

NEW FEATURES:

1.

Instead of having recrut, veteran and elite - they will be different insertions. Recrut - Alfa insertion. etc they will be renamed too. Sometimes if you take the worng choice, you risk dying before you even land on the ground :P

2.

If the player controlled not a player member but you dies, the game ends (mission complete actual) and say you were KIA. Why its complete? Retarded? I dont think so. Firstly if you dies and change actor it will be too remember where the enemy that picked you out last time was and handling about memory. And if the mission failure its boring to play the mission again and again if you ask me.

3.

Avatar off i mean you cant shwitch actor in-game.

4.

The player will have plans like destroy vehicles if they see them stuff like that.

5.

Mostly 1 or 2 objectives.

6. If you in a mission have to rescue a hostage or kill a specific target, there will in the pictures of the mission, you know when you click campaign, you can then play the missions and theres some pictures, these pictures in such missions will then be ONLY of the hostages or the targets, and maybe also the enviroment.

7. Campaign missions wont be playable in quick missions, but there will be some quick missions (DSF :) )

8. On command map you cant see your soldiers, (only in some cases a few ones you can see the label to them!) you cant see enemy or vehicle.

9. The briefing will be a mission before the operation where you will be briefied (with sound only) and when thats done, you can move around, and actually train some of the things (in briefing they will say if its CQB theres important etc) and then you can train it if you want.

10. If you have to like 'kill all enemies' just an ex but if you have to, and you have killed them all, the objective want be completed, because that how can they know all enemies are dead???

Please give feedback!!!

I like the way how it sounds, some grammar mistakes :fingersx:

Translating from Danish into English isn't easy, much less English into Danish - regardless of the fact that both of those languages descend from the same root language, and share the same language category (they are both Germanic languages). But whatever, the project sounds good teppe.

uuhm teppe, you might want to "bump" the thread every couple of weeks or so if there's no response, daily bumps are a bit closely spaced. just sayin.

i like the idea, but i think removing allies from the command map's a bit mhmm, I don't know it's hard to explain, but they will have GPS or PLBs on them that will mean that you can see their approximate location via a computerised map.

Hmmm... yeah Alex lol sorry for bumping it every day will stop ;)

My idea was to do this you cant see allies your soldiers on command map, but yeah, as you said Alex, i think you're right ;)

And Fletcher, yeah, comm means much in coop, so in this 1995 mission, it could be fun like 'Bravo, whats your position?'' ''We see a white house etc''

Only problem is that you can still put your cursor over where the icons used to be and their name shows up.

In the environment files there is an option to place the command map in a certain place. I always kept my maps clean and centered. Option found in, Rockall, barracks.env:

<CMOffsetX>-200</CMOffsetX>

<CMOffsetY>-200</CMOffsetY>

Now if you changed those to:

<CMOffsetX>-800</CMOffsetX>

<CMOffsetY>-800</CMOffsetY>

This would obviously show nobody, no plans, on the CM. You can add zones and stuff then change the coods in the mission file.

Removing allies from CM. Personnel choice.

Starting to go with, you should always know where your allies are. Remove the enemy in the cmi file only. Or use hide on the command map.

Not if it's taking place in 1995, as this mod is.

they still had PLBs in 1995 and GPS was fully operational in 1994, just saying.

either way, knowing where your allies are is always a good thing. editing the cmi to perhaps make their blips more low profile (get rid of the A, B, C and just have a little blue dot) and possibly removing the path line sounds like a better alternative to me. it's a good concept though.
