mcduke
My friends and I rent a server from a company called "Ultimate Game Server aka (UGS)" and I've run unreal tournament servers from there as well as COD servers. I have a control panel I log onto inorder to add mods, maps, and make any changes to the server. Here are the different areas in the control to do this: Command Line Changer Default config file file manager I've asked the UGS to install GRAW2 as a server (which they did) but neither UGS nor I have a clue as to how to set it up. It just doesn't seem to run in the same way as the other servers I set up. I would really appreciate if someone could give me a hand with this. Jody
I assume your Default Config File is the dedicated_game_info.xml file. this file contains all the settings for your server including the map rotation. An explanation of the different settings can be found in these forums - they are explained a lot better than i ever could. To start your server is just a command line which UGS should be able to sort out for you. On a PC you get a window that shows what the server is doing but on some hosts you just get a browser window that tells if the server is running or not. This is something thats upto UGS. H_White
Put the video card during installation and the first start-up dedicated server! Then do not need a video card!

Rogue246
Little late on this but my group rents from defconservers and haven't had any problems with the server. Everything runs great. You might want to check them out if you haven't had your server sorted yet. http://www.defconservers.com
