bad flickering now in gr

hey guys,

having issues with new NVidia drivers and GR. I am getting some really bad flickering when I try and play GR in full screen. I tried Apex' options.xml but it makes the window unusable and small. It doesn't flicker but it also sucks for trying to navigate and play the game. Any help here? uninstalling and reinstalling older drivers didn't help either.

what type of flickering? is it the whole screen or certain textures

Try a different monitor resolution (lower) to start, if that dont work try reducing "colours" of your display under display settings.

If that doesnt work, has anything changed near your monitor recently ??

Magnetic emf fields can cause screen flicker, so check for...speakers, fans, cell phones, radios or other electrical device near the screen when you are playing and move them away.

Also, check that your monitor cable is secure. Possibly check with another cable if you have one as an internal pin may be loose.

Another possible culprit is a "TOO HIGH" refresh rate of your screen. This can be set high from a newly installed driver.

Only other thing I can think of is check that your graphics card is securely seated in the motherboard.

You didnt specify as to whether you are using laptop or external monitor, so try another monitor also if you can.

One of these will be the culprit.
