what are you proud of?

I'm proud of having gotten into and complete a law enforcement training academy where only a very, very small portion of those who apply, get in. And I graduated in the top 5 of my platoon, academically. I'm also proud to be married to an amazing, strong, self-reliant Latina. :)

I am proud that there is a still an active fan community for Ghost Recon - a game from over a decade ago, and that I enjoy the privilege of being part of that community. I am proud that this community values a unique game concept above superficial graphics effects, that it recognizes excellence and prefers deliberation over twitch reflexes. I am proud that there is still a place for the thinking man's shooter, and that there are so many very nice people still passionate about it. Long live Ghost Recon! :)

Leave it to us modding nuts to change the theme from real life achievements to virtual things.

But I agree with ya Apex.

:clapping:

**EDIT**

Eh, and my 2000 post count. Broken down it is like this:

1000 posts about modding.

500 posts in flame wars.

250 rant posts in Future Soldier topics.

150 posts about my clan.

100 posts about quesadillas.

Just growing up a good person in this crazy world, thanks to so many other people who helped out while I was growing up.

Military service and deployment.

Helping people learn maths.

Sweet! sounds like you should be proud of yourself if you are passing on your knowledge to people and you've been in Military Service! what division of the forces?

I'm proud of my 5 Warning Points here at GR.net.

Oh wytch! XD

Woah! that IS an achievement to be proud of Nice one! and a woman to be proud of too!

I'm proud of surviving 10 years of school so far.

I know that one all too well, mind you i'm sure Estonian education is much tougher than UK education :P definitely is a milestone to be proud of.

I'm Proud of the community Ghost Recon 1 has got going too, it may not be the biggest but it's withstood the test of time and decay like no other!

I'm with you 100% there for sure...

haha quesdillas... I still don't have a clue what they are, are they like Tortillas?

being obsessed with cat WITHOUT owning one.......yet

Woah! are you serious?! I thought you had one? but that is one crazy but cool achievement!

1. Both of my children.

Sorry but one of them plays minecraft, he cannot help it I have tried flogging torture starvation but he he will not stop.

2. The GB team, they rock.

3. Anyone with the gumption to wear a Uniform of the British Armed Forces.

I could happily rearange the order.

1) Sweet! i'm sure your son will grow out of minecraft or get bored of it someday

2)TeamGB do rock, ParalympicGB all the way for me though, they got up from the lowest of the low and came back fighting :)

3)Aye, who wouldn't be proud of any respectable country's armed forces? they serve day in day out for their country's freedom, safety and rights. Hopefully I'll be wearing a proper one in 2 years or so...

You?

Moi?

Passing EVERY GCSE I was put up for is the highlight at the moment, I even passed History! (I was predicted a G)

I also made the decision that I am going to Join the RAF after 6th form college.

I'm keeping my mind open, but I hopefully want to be trained and serve as a Pilot, the reason this is something that is part of this thread is because I'm proud to live in this country, past all the rough bits you hear about on the news, there's a sense of unbreakable high spirits support and strength within the population, gotta give something back somehow!

however I know the demand is low for Pilots and if I don't go in as the Desired role then I'll turn to something like an Aerospace Battle Manager or an Areospace Systems Operator or something like that either way I'll still be of help (i hope :P )

Oh wytch! XD

What's so funny? Do you know the lengths at which I had to go to get 5 Warning Points? :turned:

Actually I think what is more an achievement is that 5 Warning Points is maximum before a ban, and I'm still here.

I wonder what ROCKY is proud of, Lets not make his ego grow any bigger about it either..

with all due respects, that's a bit harsh, if Rocky's proud of something let him share his pride, it's not egotistical to be proud.

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd guess that Rocky is proud of his wife and kids. =D And he's probably proud of running the best damn site on the internet!
