wanderon
Nice, got some performance improvements, but it needs more and more performance improvements! Mulitplayer and single player: still the same with a little frame faster Guerilla: 60 FPS!
Papa6
what I don't understand is FPS. my understanding is the human eye sees normal around 60. why need more? what I don't understand is FPS. my understanding is the human eye sees normal around 30 60. why need more? ApexMods
The human eye can actually only discern about 24 images per second and almost all LCD displays run at 60 images per second, so most modern games are locked at 60 FPS or less (e.g. Halo 3 is locked at 30 FPS). What's causing the notion of non-fluid motion in games like FS is either sudden drops below the desired frame rate of 60 FPS or input lag (delayed responsiveness to user input) - both usually caused by sloppy programing. Well, the game is locked on a certain FPS! If it's not locked i could've got more! Locked FPS is the reason why none of us can play this game properly! Papa6
I'm wondering if this wasn't purposely done to make us so disgusted, we'd leave PC gaming, thereby, allowing Ubi to go strict console. Then again, Ubi would win.
Mace
what I don't understand is FPS. my understanding is the human eye sees normal around 60. why need more? I've never understood it either. I think it comes down to people chasing numbers instead of playing what feels right. Instead of obsessing over the frame rate I just play the game and if it slows down I lower something. Seems to be the in thing to obsess over.
