Rocky 1,223
Ghost Recon Network has opened, and Gunsmith is available already! Click here to jump straight to the Gunsmith tool and start creating your perfect weapon. Pretty cool.
Anthonyf 0
Sorry can't with my PC???? Bad file length, not happy! If when I finally take possession of my collectors edition and I can only play it through Unity, heads will roll, I'll defiantly be ###### off! Oelmuvun 0
> Dammit ubi! It is more than 65MB and it will not cache! Nor can you get it standalone as far as I am aware.
Anthonyf 0
Yeah I keep getting the message; Error launching Unity player Bad file length This is what I was afraid off! If this is a foretaste of things to come I'm glad EB has a 2 week return policy. Edited April 28, 2012 by Anthonyf
Anthonyf 0
Wow,...after three hours of trying it's not looking good for the Gunsmith. I hope I won't have the same trouble when I go to load the game. I now have a sense of foreboding, like a condemned man waiting for the trapdoor to swing open and the rope to go taught. belvucker 0
Works perfectly fine for me, but don't worry there is no reason to really use Gunsmith outside of the game. This is just a marketing ploy to attract players, the in-game version will be much better .
Anthonyf 0
Hope so.
=warcloud= 0
Works great in internet explorer 9 and firefox 12, in firefox 11 kept getting bad file length. It's quite good i suppose from a social aspect, reminds me of battlelog but with some extras.
Blame 42
It's quite glitchy and has bad quality, I wouldn't give it a 5/5.
Zeealex 743
Make sure you are using a HTML 5 capable browser so it will work correctly.

Anthonyf 0
After reading on the net I found out that IE9 isn't compatible with XP gulp,....I hope this won't interfere with the installation of the game when it finally arrives. I'm already running Firefox 12? My system specs are as follows; Win XP Pro ver 2002 service pack 3 AMD Athlon IIX4 630 Processor 2.81 Ghz, 3.25 GB of Ram Edited April 28, 2012 by Anthonyf
Tinker 1
Not sure there has been any mention of the game running under XP. From the press release: PC version specific features: - PC high standard visuals (DX11 renderer, new Hi-Quality Assets, new Post Process Effects, multi-monitor solutions support, TriDef stereoscopic support). - DirectX11 enhanced: Tessellation (for soft 3D models), Compute Shaders-based realistic lighting (for Global Illumination), Volumetric Fog. DX11 does not run on XP. Will have to find some more info about this.
Zeealex 743
i suggest if you can get the money together it will be worth getting windows 7 or windows 8, windows XP is slowly losing support. windows XP will not interfere with the in game gunsmith, the in game gunsmith is based within the engine, not your browser. Not sure there has been any mention of the game running under XP. there is mention. official hardware requirements have confirmed XP support, the DX11 enhancements are purely extra features for capable PCs

=warcloud= 0
tried my Galaxy S and zip nothing!. A forum member over @ the official ubisoft site said ...It does work on Galaxy S that's been loaded with Android 4 Ice Cream. of course doing so is at your own risk as the full Android 4 is not officially supported by Samsung for the Galaxy S. Anthonyf 0
I think the whole thing seems worrying to me, I'm glad though that this has cropped up now instead of within the excitement of installing it for the first time! I'll try the Gunsmith on another PC today see if the results are any different? I just realized something, the Pennie dropped! http://ghostreconnetwork.ubi.com/en-GB/xbox/gunsmith Perhaps that ver of Gunsmith was never meant to play on PC? RileyFletcher_01 1
Can't run it on my machine either. This is kind of pathetic.
