I'm just back from the Funeral Service.

You guys should know that the respect you have shown here, and on other forums, has not been overlooked by the family of =SeALZ=Geordie; the sincere comments from the Ghost Recon community were actually referred to in the service, and one post was even read out to the congregation.

=SeALZ= Skinz was also present, and he presented the family with a collection of the posts that have been made in honour of Keith. I'd like to thank =SeALZ= Skinz for getting details of the arrangements for the service to me.

There was a large attendance, I'd say well over 200, nearer 300 probably - it was very moving, one of the saddest things I have ever witnessed.

The loss of a devoted father and caring husband is a tragedy that echoes through decades.

I offer my sincerest condolences to you, Louise. To have lost the man you selected out of all others is the cruellest blow to take. May God grant you the strength of mind and spirit to continue living, to continue being a good mother to your three children, to continue remembering Keith for the decent, dedicated, loving man he was in life.

You know Keith better than all of us. You know how he thought and what he would say. You know his wishes and in this respect he lives with you still, entwined in your soul. He is there with you, remember this. To move on, to progress, you can carry him in you and see him in your children.

All is not lost, Louise. My prayers go out to you. God bless.

To Naomi, Freya and Niamh:

By reading all of the messages sent by both strangers and friends of your father alike, you can see he was a fine man. Be proud you had such a devoted father, even for such a tragically short time, as he was so proud of you all.

Blimey Rocky was it that long ago.

I was only talking to a colleague yesterday about the last time I met Geordie and how we all laughed at his funeral - I've never done that before or since.

I lost touch with the family, which is a shame, a real shame.

Nice to see that you still think of him too.

Take care mate,

Rich
