Although I did not know Geordie (Keith) personally just from what I see I'm sure he was an incredible person. I think this tragedy brings reality terribly close to our tight-knit community. Although there are thousands of us, the moment one of us leaves unwillingly makes the community stop. We also see how small this aspect of our lives are in comparison to the 'bigger picture'. Fate always has the upper-hand, and the only thing we can do is try to out play her. As strongly as I believe that everything happens for a reason, I can not even begin to see the light in this situation. After Louise read the posts last night she came back and spoke to me, as she has already put she was overwhelmed by the response and the depth of feeling that Keith's passing has generated. She has asked if there is anyway that she can keep these messages, she would like to keep them for Keith's children so that in time, when they are older and able to understand they can read them and see what a great man their father was and how many people loved and respected him. I have printed all messages from all forums and I will be taking them to give to Louise when I attend the funeral on Tuesday. The fact that Geordie leaves the familly behind just makes it worse. When I first started modding, I made a post looking for weapons modders willing to help me. Geordie contacted me via PM and showed a great interest in my work, pointed me to some modders and was generaly verry supportive.
