When I first heard the news, I was left with silence trapped in my own world. This is someone that will never be forgotten. I was just talking to Impact the other night expressing about how we have grown as community. I said, "We are more then just some guys that get together and play games to pass time". "I consider everyone here close brothers; family". That is what everyone here is, family. When something like this happens to your brother, it is one of the hardest things to endure. I can only continue praying for Keith "Geordie", knowing he is up in heaven looking down at us and smiling. I wish his wife and daughters well, as I know this will be hard for them to tackle but not overcome.

=SeALZ=Geordie was a man that has taken the Europe Squad to another level and he brought strength, organization, and leadership to the squad. =SeALZ= Europe will live on in your spirit and strength.

May God Bless you my brother Keith, and may your memory remain in our hearts forever.

I salute you, and I'll have one for you brother.

I did not know him well, but it is a very sad thing indeed.

It is touching to see the variety in the posts on this forum, most of the recognized names on the GR forums have posted – people with 200+ posts; while a number of people have made this their first post. It must be an honor to receive such a farewell from allover the world.

Condolences from the US…

There are those fallen when it's not their time to go,

But the heavenly father had made his call.

Like many others, I don't know Geordie in person. But I extend my full condolences to his family and loved ones.

It's all feel like when one of my comrade has fallen.

In reading some of the out pouring of love and r espect posted on Ghostrecom for Geordie makes me proud that my son, Loco is part of the gaming world and proud of all of you gamers for taking the time to acknowledge the loss of one of your own.

Many non game players belittle gamers saying they don't know the difference between reality and gaming......that is not true. Gamers make real friends while gaming and while their in game characters are trying to create havoc they care about the person behind the game character.

From locogamer.com we wish to express our sadness at the loss of one of its own . Our prayers go out to Geordie's family and many friends as each struggle to deal with his tragic, too early death. Death in a game does not hurt.......in real life sometimes the pain never goes completely away.

I suggested to Loco that he should make a mod for and named after Geordie so that GhostRecon represents an everlasting memorial to his memory for a game he obviously loved. Those of you that want to help Loco put this together..........you know how to reach him.

Geordie.......you will be missed.

Glo

(Loco's real life Mom)

As I've read all these beautiful posts, from others like me who did not know him - to others who had only passing knowledge or contact with him - and to those who knew him dearly... it saddens me that I'll never have the opportunity to know =SeALZ=Geordie, or to chat with him, or to fight with or against him in game. It saddens me more, that those who knew him well have lost a fine man and a good friend.

I too wish to express my deepest condolences to his friends, and most importantly to his family.

I am new to this community, but none the less, my heart and prayers go out to all that that knew Geordie. Being a father myself, especially to his family.

I am reminded of a phrase that I heard years back at a friend's funeral, and I hope it helps...

...as long as he is remembered, he will always be with us.....

Sincerely,

TJG and family.
