You must have access to GameRanger to join, as this is how the servers are hosted. The clan has a system of ranks and positions, and completing missions, gaining kills, saving allies from death, and earning medals gain you experience points (XP) that let you progress through the ranks. There are several different medals, achieved for accomplishments such as completing a mission when you are the last survivor of your platoon, being wounded and surviving to the end of the mission, or acting in a gallant and brave way at the risk of life. It is preferable that you are fluent in English, and depending on your level of skill, you may or may not be required to take any training.
