You have been warned[/Mod Edit] I don't know the extent of gmax by discreet (makers of 3d Studio Max), but the interface is exactly the same and it allows you to make characters and vehicles in it. Demize 0 Posted July 22, 2003 Share Posted July 22, 2003 yeah expect to make enimies with loved ones lose alot of sleep run in to alot of really dumb mistakes from which you really learn 3dmax youll think about quitting youll cuss at you pc you will put in countless hours staring at the screen thinking hmmm ( i useally just spin my pretty model in the view port for a couple min)and when you build you totally awsome map then you got to texture it and if you havent yet (you should have done this already) tag everything floors walls 2d and 3d collidables make glass tag glass etc etc etc export it igor it test it find 100's of bugs go back make changes repeat rereat repeat good friends may help you here if they really like you. FINISH YOUR MAP GET SCREENS ON GR.NET so you can get some hype and submit you killer map to recon.net for their mod section millions and nillions will download it ubi will call you for a job and playmates will flock to you as if you were freaking vin deasil.....GL my friend it takes a different person to do this stuff.
