swartsz 7
i' ve got a mainboard, a MS-6309 LE2 ATX with VIA VT82C694X chipset, which i know supports a AGP speed of 4. so i went to my BIOS and changed in the Chipset features screen the AGP mode to 4 and the AGP Comp. Driving to Manual. so far so fine, but then i go to the settings of my Radeon 9000. the Smartgart tab. and there i also change the Set AGP speed from 2 to 4. reboot the system and what do you know, somehow it has changed back to 2. does anybody know how to fix this and why is it changing itself back to 2? RooK 0
You are clicking the test button right? If so, make sure fastwrite isn't checked and try again. If it still doesn't work, hop over to the guys at rage3d.com forums. They should be able to tell you how to overide it or fix it better than I could.
