Pave Low
An interesting article in swedish tabloid aftonbladet about the Demise of GRIN studio It claims increasingly bizarre and impossible demands by Square Enix led to the studio's demise EG Fax us the game's code, including the project's music files Square Enix also started complaining that they didn't like the game's Nordic style, even though they'd asked for that at the outset, Feeling like they'd been set up to fail, GRIN sent Square Enix an image taken from Final Fantasy XII saying it was a production shot from "Fortress." The Anderssons say Square Enix replied "It does not look like Final Fantasy." it makes for depressing reading for those of us that got to know the GRIN staff well during the GR:AW's Original article (Swedish) Translated version on kotaku
Zeealex
that is pretty weird, but in all honesty, i would wait to see if any news comes about from a different source, other the the two you have. but all in all, game developers have gone mad lately, activision not knowing when to stop a franchise that is getting old and repetetive, atari forcing eden studios to strike because of 51 out of 80 of their staff being dropped, Ubisoft not listening to the customer, wait thats normal. and now this? the game world has gone tits up i think the only good developer out there at the moment is EA and DICE
Rocky
Just very sad. The comments following that article are a bit of an eye opener too. Plenty of reading there.
