wombat50 Posted May 30, 2011 Author Share Posted May 30, 2011 Thanks for the nice comments. Much appreciated. I went to the Fayetteville, AR National Cemetery today to visit my Mom and Dad's grave. Both WW2 vets. They had a nice ceremony for Memorial Day. My older brother and I both served during the Vietnam era. I had a tour of duty in South Korea and he had a tour in South Vietnam with the 5th/60th Inf 9th ID. He saw combat, and returned in one piece. He told me today the helicopters they flew in had a greyhound logo on the nose. 240th Assault Helicopter Company. "Leave the Flying to Us" So proud of him and all that serve the USA.
