No topic on this game already?

Well this game seems to have my attention! <_< Picked up several new games in the EA sale on Steam last week, this I keep going back to. We can circle back to the others soon, going to have fun here for now.

Not a big OTS fan, but whatever. So far the game looks amazing, game-play is fun, not your realistic, or normal stuff, just fun.

Character customizing seems to be more than I have seen in any other game. Very nice.

Now the first part seem a little boring and hand-held, after passing this you will end up in the wide open space with many galaxy`s to explore. In a space ship, you decide where to go to. I have a pistol/rifle/GL, and so far nailed a load of AI units. Small team that runs with me, can command in certain areas. Only played a few hours here, and just started exploring 1 galaxy. Sure this is going to be a great game.

I know I have talked of this before, but find no topic. <_< Running as a Sentinal here.

Big gripe so far - Each time I start the game up, I am prompted with could not log into EA servers. You can easily log into EA servers from this point, but:

I WANT TO PLAY SP :wall: MAKE THIS HAPPEN IF I CLICK THE MP BUTTON!

There is no need to log in for SP, why have this message come up so soon?

 Anyhow, real nice SP game so far, hope to play more in the week and post back.

After reading your post I got curious so downloaded the demo and gave it a try, I am not usually a big fan of this type of game but I have to say that this is really quite good, with some nice touches and effects, even the cut scenes blended in really nicely, and that Miranda is quite something  .....will definately look out for it in the future.

When exactly does this game end? :o

Clocked in 16 hours so far, still in the process of recruiting my team for the reason I am playing. Load of places not even explored still, plus a back log of side missions to get into.

Miranda is quite something

Gets better, lots of hotties to meet! :icon_redface:

The end game begins upon entering the mass relay to begin the 'Suicide Mission'

Before you enter, make sure to have all ship upgrades, and as many team members loyal as possible. You WILL lose team members in the Suicide Mission if you don't do it correctly, you'll be tasked woith assigning fireteam leaders etc. Do it wisely (choose ONLY loyal team members, otherwise they will die), you might have to have a team member escort someback to the Normandy, again, choose wisely, etc. Also, at one point, you have to take two with you and leave the rest behind to hold the position - leave behind the tanks (Grunt, Legion, etc) and those experienced in bunkering down and holding their position (Zaeed, Garrus), take with you anyone else. When you need to assign a biotic, choose Samara or Jack; when you need an engineer, choose Tali or Legion; when you need to assign a second fireteam leader, choose Garrus or Miranda (or Jacob, Garrus is best choice though); when you need to assign an escort, choose Mordin (provided he has the OmniTool upgrade.) Make sure those characters you choose are loyal, or you will loose them. Also, your fireteam should include ONLY loyal team members.

In short, the Suicide Mission requires a certain formula to complete WITHOUT losing team members. You can, however, complete without my advice above, but you will then most ceratianly loose team members.

Miranda is quite something

Yup - Samara, Morinth and Liara along with other random Asari, not so much Kasumi and defiinitely not Jack. Also, Tali, but we never get to see her face - I am drawn to woemn with accents. :)

Tink, check the DLC's, some good ###### within, including new shooters, new armours and new missions (and new team members Zaeed/Kasumi)

Doubt I am near the part you mention, too much side missions to finish yet, however some of the squad are turning loyal now. Lot of places still to visit yet though. Firefights getting tougher, meeting bigger enemies, but upgrades are all kicking in now too.

Thnx for the tips above.

23 hours clocked so far...

There are two sets of squad members who will question each others loyalty (in a stand off) once their loyalty mission are complete. If you do not have high enough Paragon/Renegade, it will resukt in you having to take sides with one of them, thus losing the loyalty of the other.

1 single objective unable to complete. Not enough renagade/paragon points to unlock conversation, yawn.

Samara's loyalty mission? (you can recruit Morinth, thus, killing Samara, if you have high enough paragon/renegade. But you need quite high renegade to have Morinth lure you back to her apartment - she's is drawn to the darkside in people, so renegade responses work better on her.
