Ubisoft launches new division "Ubisoft Motion Pictures"

oh so now we are getting live action rip offs? FANTASTIC!!

sorry, very bitter today :P i wonder how many years they'll delay the films for.

well, it seems likely a feature length GR is in the making, so long as it contains the original characters, (you dont really know much about them, lets face it.)

you can start with a blank canvas with Jacobs and gang.

I think this has been an on / off kind of thing.

Two years ago Ubisoft made moves in this direction towards ubisoft movie tie ins, then I seem to remember after a disastrous game tie in about a year ago they said they would not do it again, now it looks like it's all on again!

"History

Captain Will Jacobs

Born September 22, 1974 in Bethesda, MD. Father (Jeremy, lawyer/2-term member, Maryland State House of Representatives) and mother (Aleisha, office manager, d. 2002). Two younger brothers, Henry (b. 1981) and Travis (b. 1983). 4 year starter on high school baseball team, drafted 32nd round in 1992 amateur draft by Cincinnati Reds. Turned down offer to attend West Point. Graduated 1996 and stood fourth in his class. Majored in Behavioral Psych. Entered service with 7th Infantry. Reassigned to Task Force Able Sentry in 1997. Responsible for retrieving 2 UN personnel taken prisoner by Macedonian nationals, and received commendation for his efforts. Promoted to Captain February 1998. Assigned to Ghosts in 2001.

Jacobs has an undeniable charisma, which is one of his greatest assets in the field. A keen student of tactics, he puts his troops in a position to succeed. They know this, and fight harder for him as a result. He is soft-spoken (except when in the field) and extremely analytical, and has a reputation as a chess shark that extends far outside the Ghosts. Among his interests are music (he is an accomplished pianist) and astronomy, and Jacobs will neither confirm nor deny that he is in fact a Mensa member. Jacobs also speaks Cantonese fluently, though his attempts at Russian and Japanese have both been described by native speakers as "interesting." Jacobs has never married, but he is extremely close to his father and both of his younger brothers. That sort of relationship also extends to the Ghosts, where he is the unquestioned hub around which the unit revolves. Jacobs has already expressed an interest in politics as a post-military career, and his success thus far bodes well for his chances."

FYI, I'm not Ubi-bashing, I'm merely going by their game release track record, and their inability to stick to release date deadlines.

Zeealice, you might want to consider changing the text beneath your sig as it's not politically correct. Wouldn't want anyone to get offended by it (not like I care for political correctness anyway)
