Parabellum
Sixty-nine years ago today, a day that would live in infamy, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. Let's remember the people who lost their lives that day. God Bless.
wombat50
We had a family friend that was on the Oklahoma(Jack McFall) and I knew a guy that was at Hickam Field(Dorsey W. Butts). God Bless.

Parabellum
Jack and Dorsey both survived the attack. I'm old but not that old. *laughs* My 8th grade social studies teacher brought a Navy veteran of the Pearl Harbor attack to school on the 50th anniversary of the attacks. He had several scale models of ships and structures, along with a couple of short films that he showed us, while he told us about the attack. Looking back, I think what a treasure that man was, and wish that I'd paid more attention.
