Is it possible to create a weapon that fires something.... like a mortar for example, and then it takes a couple seconds for it to get to the target? If you modded the velocity and speed of the projectile, would this be possible? Thanks. :)

Haven't you seen the old =DRAG= 60mm Mortar? It was made in January 2002 I think. It's in =DRAG= v1.0 and v2.0.... May be in Black Sun. And I know Gunslinger used it as they used all weapons from =DRAG= v1.0....

Just look at how the grenade launcher works. It's what you described. It's the only weapon in the game, well besides hand thrown frags, that actually has some baliatics. Play around with it and you'll see.

Really? How did you make it do the designated time?

I checked out the Drag Mod, wow, lots of weapons. :) I'm looking at the mortar right now and it has :

Velocity = 1 + 1 (X-Range) + 1 (X-Range^2)

Is there any way to make it even slower? What do these numbers mean? Thanks again for the help. ;)

You set the detonation time in the PRJ file it uses. Same can be done with most PRJ types.

Don't know but I think you can enter any value you want. Check if you can find the old tutorial by Parabellum that tells you what all the numbers actually stand for. It was hosted on Ravenmouth.org but our site has been closed down. And Para has left the modding side of GR. But someone may still have it around....

Firefly, in the 40mm grenade file, you'll see it is set at 10(sec) and to explode on impact. Change 10 to 3 and try it out, then adjust up or down to meet your needs.
