extracting a website resource

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure this appropriate to ask:

I'm taking and online course with practice test in them. My problem is I want to take it to work, but my work PC does not permit to go to the site to do my practice test (maybe because it contains Shockwave and Quicktime), but not the classes itself (Powerpoint)

Is there a free service or app I can install into my flash drive so I can extract the test-part to my flash drive, so I can take my practice test offline?

thanks

I guess you could try saving the .flv file and then making a simple HTML page that loads the flv. Then just open it up in IE/Firefox/Whatever. I don't think you can actually take the test offline. But you might be able to at least practice them. Since it's an online test, I'm guessing they have things in place to prevent this kind of thing.
