Dick Splash
During the late 70's in the U.K. there was a comedy drama called 'Private Schultz'. It was about a pre-war German petty criminal, caught up in WWII and a Nazi counterfeit operation. It was based on true events and the Nazi Operation Bernhard, where an attempt was made to destabilise the British economy by flooding it with forged bank notes. Anyway, this Austrian film aired on BBC Four recently and it's well worth a watch if you can. It's a drama focusing on a forgerer torn between personal survival and the greater good.
