Dick Splash Posted June 26, 2010 Share Posted June 26, 2010 The film, based on Ranulph Feinnes book 'The Feather Men', is currently being made in Melbourne. I say 'based', because from what I gather, that's as close as it gets. I read the book soon after I met Feinnes in '93 and back then he was pushing for a film deal. Anyway, seventeen years later Feinnes will be getting his royalties for, what will be, a shadow of his 'factional' story. Sadly, even though Clive Owen and Robert De Niro will be in the film, one of the main actors is Jason Statham...and he plays a former SEAL!!! I'm sure the trailer will be "toadalleeee awesome".
