Specter 0 Posted May 25, 2003 Share Posted May 25, 2003 I am running XP Pro, and so far, only the Catalyst 3.0 Drivers seem to work. Here's what is going on. I uninstalled the 3.o drivers, rebooted, and installed the 3.4 drivers. I run in windows classic style with none of the artsy fartsy crap to slow things down, except smooth fonts, and show contents while dragging. My resolution is set at 1024X768. 32 bit color, 85hz refresh. DX9.0 The card is a genuine ATI Radeon 9000 Pro with 128 DDR VRAM None of my windows settings changed. I also had this problem with the 3.1 and 3.3 drivers. Right now, Im going to try upgrading to dx9.0a and see if that helps. Could someone with ATI experience help? This is my first ATI card in 10 years, and its starting to remind me why I quit using them way back when. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Specter 0 Posted May 25, 2003 Author Share Posted May 25, 2003 That test was grayed out. I have no D3d. Uninstalled all ati drivers and control panel again, cleaned registry, and rebooted.
