cozzielex
Does anyone have any experience of this programme and: (a) are there any problems attached to using it (I'm a bit worried about shutting down essential programmes; and (b) does it really make much difference to game play. NoQuarter
I have used it (v1.1-v1.3) for some apps for over a year. It has a small footprint and has not caused any problems at all. Downstream graphical/OC profiles are still recognised and function normally while it's active. I use it as insurance for ArmA2...it seems to have cured the eposodic CTDs/BSODs on my Intel/nForce/GeForce setup. Can't say that I have been able to notice any in-game performance improvement , though. Before activating it allows modifying the default shutdown list.Windows Time Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) WebClient TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper Task Scheduler System Event Notification SSDP Discovery Service Shell Hardware Detection Server Secondary Logon Protected Storage Print Spooler Network Location Awareness (NLA) Logical Disk Manager IPSEC Services Human Interface Device Access Help and Support

cozzielex
Thanks for your response. By the way I bought Arma2 and I find it very difficult to play on PC as I find the controls very loose and imprecise. I thought it would play like GR, but obviously not. Anyway thanks for your time and opinions.
