JTF-2 0 Posted May 24, 2003 Share Posted May 24, 2003 (edited) I know i've shown renders here before a not a lot has happened to the models after. This time i'm gonna try and get this one to work. Here is the first try model. The gun is an Aurora Tactical M91 with a US Optics sn3 scope (yes the scope is supposed to be that big!) It's got 1145 pollys, so i think I can add a bit more detail. Any technical comments, have i modeled a part wrong etc??? I'm sure i'll be posting here again with questions (read, desperate cries for help) once i start trying to texture it. oh, and thank you to all the people in the "sniper rifles" topic who helped me out with choosing a gun and scope. RooK 0 Posted May 24, 2003 Share Posted May 24, 2003 Good looking model. Is that a Rem 700 based action? Bolt-action rifles are in a leage of their own; especially ones with glassy, smooth actions. I need to take a pic of an Arisaka Type-38 rifle my grandfather brought back from WWII. It's an interesting rifle, one unique feature being its long barrel. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
