grasmanek94
well i think many of you know the ghost recon for PS2?.. there you oculd only command BRAVO and it was fine 'cuz u just had to aim and press the L3 button and there they go.. and on the pc i have to switch on all the time the command map which isn't very usefull in-battle... so is this "key" also avaivable for the pc? Sgt. Atoa
Sadly is not avaliable on the PC version of the game and you are right is very usefull on battle you can micro manage your own team and send them foward, left or right, just aim to the ground where you want them en they fallow suit Jungle Storm have some neat features never avaliable to us PC users
grasmanek94
em ok lol can't they patch it? ;x how hard is it to script it ? lol just get the position in-game from where the mouse points to and send the team to that position.. so hmm i hope there is out here a pr0 who can do that, also team-by-team following would be usefull, bravo and charlie follow alpha or something ;p
Sgt. Atoa
It's hard coded in the engine, impossible to do with out the source code But honestly if you keep at it in time you won't need that feature anymore
MarkAm_i
True, I was trying to remember whether there was a command map on the ps 2. That's where I first played GR through desert siege, good times, but it's been so long I don't remember. Point and click is good, I like that aspect of GRAW too, but the command map for the pc just takes a bit of adapting to. One suggestion I would offer is changing the zoom in/zoom out of the command map keys to Q and E. That way you can get more accurate waypoints. Also, when creating the multiple waypoints per each fireteam ( I don't think you can do that for PS 2) you can just click a 10 point path. What I mean is even if it's a straight line, you can just click a dozen waypoints in a line, even all in a row, so that the teams pause for a second to scan the area rather than running straight through. It offers them time to gain awareness and locate enemies.
