Rocky
X360 Call of Juarez owners were giddy with excitement over a map pack download, and even more so when they discovered it was priced at 0 points! Bad news was - this was a huge mistake and it should not of been a free download. Eventually the DLC showed up for $10 in the marketplace though. Bad news, after people had paid the money, they DLS never arrived, all they got was an error message. Never mind, this is Microsoft we are talking about, such a huge error with what should be a simple task would surely be rectified in double time. Bad news, it still a case of "we got your money, and your DLC, tough!" source
WhiteKnight77
This enforces the argument that extra content should be released on a disk as a mission pack. Shame on all parties involved.
Sup
This enforces the argument that extra content should be released on a disk as a mission pack. Because this hasnt been done successfully several hundred times, or anything. It's a mess, and i think it's the second one microsoft has caused in the last 3-4 years? Last time they gave some arcade games away free for a few weeks as an apology.
WytchDokta
IMO, some Xbox DLC's are overpriced anyway. 800 points for a few CoD5WaW maps? What? The Fallout 3 DLC's are 800 points on the PC (and Xbox) and that's loads more content than just a few maps. Which is why I'm reluctant to pay 800 points for a GoW2 map pack which consists of 4 maps, as much as I love GoW2. I want heaps of content for 800 points not just a few maps. You can even get full games for 800 points, like N+ for example (another awesome game)
Tinker
Unable to find a single official mention of any such DLC on UBI forums?
kleaneasy
I'm afraid having been away I've no information or knowledge of this but I'll see what I can find out
Tinker
Just noticed it is a console only DLC, so not too fussed about the info myself. Any news on a PC update would be good though. Still awaiting my new card though, graphics driver packs up each time at the same point, blow the troops out of the water on the rafts with the cannons. I know my card is hammered though, but this is a 1 off game I found really good to play here SP so far...
