Dick Splash
I'm a big fan of Stephen Colbert's character and he comes across as being a really nice bloke. Last month he flew out to Iraq and film four episodes of his show. He wore a suit made out of ACU and had his head shaved by his first guest, the Commanding General. Here's an interview made before his trip on ABC; CNN Appearence THE Haircut If you've never heard or seen him before he plays a clueless character fueled by ignorance. He shares the same name as his character but pronounces it differently. His show's current and topical and he sits talking to the camera behind a desk in a faux news fashion. He usually has a guest on promoting a book or something and here he is with Richard Dawkins. You get the idea of how his character is; YouTube usually pull all of his 'The Colbert Report' shows but if you might be able to catch up on his shows from his official website. The last I looked you couldn't do this outside the U.S. though, but I've just checked and it does. Official Website DS
