GreyHaired
Runs fine in the Win7 Beta version - haven't installed the RC1 yet. I installed this OS on a different partition, with dual boot XP/Win 7. I removed GR from the XP platform.
=EP_Geez
What build are you on? Windows 7 Beta,Windows 7 RC1,Windows 7 RC2 Have you installed the latest Directx? Have you tryed all compatibility modes? I am on windows 7 RC2 Build 7201 and its running fine Try downloading Windows 7 RC2 build 7201. If you are still having problems tray dual booting with windows XP
CIT_Fox
Apparently, the build of WIn7 I'm running mentions "Evaluation copy. Build 7100" on the desktop. I've tried updating video drivers, directX, ... and all compatibility modes, but the same error keeps popping up. -Fox
ROCO*AFZ*
Try re-installing it to C:\Red Storm ect If it's under program files it's protected and it can't save as you won't run there as full admin. But under the C drive you can. That way your save games aren't redirected into your user profile. See if that works.
CIT_Fox
Try re-installing it to C:\Red Storm ect I already tried both under Program Files and in the user/saved games folder, but none of these seem to work... I'll try out your suggestion though. -Fox
CIT_Fox
Installing to "C:\Red Storm ..." doesn't fix the problem. Could it be caused by Win7 being build 7100 instead of a newer one? -Fox
Sgt. Atoa
Just installed the game and is working fine......I'm using Windows 7 RC 32bit I can confirn that 3ds max is working on Window 7 (impossible with Vista) unless you have versio 8 and up
